This collection of ten tracking worksheets is ideal for metacognition & self-regulated learning! Just choose two designs, print them out and have students glue them into the front and/or back of their exercise books! These engaging designs are aimed at students aged 11-16 and encourage regular student-reflection, metacognition and self-regulated learning.
Five of the tracking worksheets are designed for the start of lessons: they encourage the monitoring and evaluation of students' readiness and preparedness for learning. The other five are for the end of lessons: they encourage performance evaluation and regulation. Just pick one for the start and one for the end of lessons and you're good to go! Putting them side-by-side at the front or back of exercise books allows students to spot trends between how they felt at the start of lessons and how well they did in the lesson itself.
It's perfect for sharing with the other teachers in your school because there are ten different versions, this is a great whole-school resource: if different teachers around your school use the different versions it will help to create self-regulating learners who monitor, evaluate, and regulate their learning-processes. Alternatively, as an individual teacher using this resource: you might select a different combination of tracking worksheets for different classes, grades or years and thus provide your students with a wide variety of self-reflection activities as they progress through your subject.
